Book of Common Prayer

The historic liturgies, prayers, and daily offices of the Anglican Church.

The Book of Common Prayer is a core text for Anglicans, containing liturgies, prayers, and doctrine. While there have been many editions over the centuries, our church primarily uses the 1928 American Book of Common Prayer and to a lesser extent the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. One important aspect of the Book of Common Prayer is the Daily Office of Morning and Evening prayer. Prayer is an important part of Christian life, and the Daily Office gives a helpful guide to follow in doing so. We encourage everyone to participate in morning and evening prayer, though it can be confusing using the Book of Common Prayer if you are unfamiliar with it. Below is a link to a website where you can find the current day's morning and evening prayer, as well as links to the full 1928 Book of Common Prayer and 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
