What to Expect

Whether you have worshipped in a church all your life or never set foot in one, you are welcome here. Come as you are.

Our Mass consists of two liturgies, the liturgy of the word and the liturgy of the sacrament. We follow traditional and reverent practices because we believe it is especially glorifying to God and is a beautiful form of worship. On Sunday mornings we offer two services — a Low Mass at 9 AM and a High Mass at 11 AM.

9:00 AM

Low Mass

This service has less of the "smells and bells", and while still reverent, it is more simple and easier to follow. This mass uses more of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer instead of the 1928. We recently made this service an option, and for now, there is no choir, but this will change in the future.

11:00 AM

High Mass

Our High Mass is traditional and more "Catholic" feeling. You will see certain liturgical practices here that you won't see in the Low Mass, such as incense and chanting. This mass uses the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and the Missal.

Liturgy of the Word

Scripture readings, psalms, hymns, and the homily — the Church hearing and responding to God's Word.

Liturgy of the Sacrament

The Offertory, the Eucharistic Prayer, and Holy Communion — the Church offering and receiving the Body and Blood of Christ.
